Sci-fi point-and-click adventure game

Monolith is a premium adventure game from developer Animation Arts. It is a dark and atmospheric point-and-click story that takes place in the vastness of space. It centers around a space explorer who must survive after being stranded on a dangerous planet while reconciling her broken and scattered memories.

Similar to Detroit: Become Human or Beyond: Two Souls, Monolith is a narrative-driven experience full of unique twists and turns as players progress through the main campaign. Newcomers can give this demo version a try to get a sense of what they can expect from the full game.

Stranded on a dangerous planet

Monolith is a sci-fi space adventure that follows the trials of a space explorer named Tessa Carter working for the Intergalactic Mining Corporation. Disaster strikes during her mission as she crashlands on a barren planet and wakes up with her memories lost. Accompanied by her talking robot companion, she must navigate this dangerous landscape to find a way to survive, call for a rescue, and recover her memories.

Explore a strange and mysterious planet and visit 50 locations across multiple biomes in your journey to survive. Your only source of support is C.O.R.E., a talking analysis robot with useful features that help you navigate and deal with different situations and environments. Observe and use your ingenuity to overcome all kinds of puzzles and obstacles that get in your way.

As you progress, you find out this seemingly barren and dead planet hides an old mining station, and you proceed to unravel its secrets and what happened long ago. The one thing to note before diving in is that the gameplay is a bit short, lasting you a few hours for a full playthrough, which is really par for the course for these types of games.

Beautiful and engrossing

Overall, if you're a fan of adventure games, Monolith is a solid title worth considering. Its beautiful hand-drawn visuals combined with a riveting story, make for a compelling experience that many players will like. However, note that some players commented on how boring the dialogues can be. The gameplay is short but is just enough for the kind of game it is. Give it a try now.

PROS
